Project DC is a community-centered redevelopment and revitalization effort guiding the future of Cattleman’s Square. Led by the San Antonio Housing Trust, it brings together residents, community members, service providers, property owners to shape a shared vision and comprehensive master plan for the district of Cattleman.

Through a collaborative community visioning process, Project DC is creating a roadmap for housing, public space, and neighborhood investment rooted in cultural preservation, housing stability, thoughtful growth, and the belief that downtown should serve everyone.

Where is Project DC?

Project DC is located on the Near West Side of San Antonio and includes the Cattleman Square Historic District, generally bounded by Delgado Street to the north, I-35 to the east, Cesar Chavez Boulevard to the south, and the railroad to the west.
